Mary Jane Lamond is performing several shows in Nova Scotia this summer. You can see her live at the Casino Nova Scotia Harbourfront Lounge and at the Tall Ships in Halifax on July 20, and with Wendy MacIsaac for the 14th Annual Gaelic Concert Series on Christmas Island, Cape Breton on August 7. Mary Jane named arts organization Comunn Féis an Eilein of Christmas Island as her protégé for the Portia White Prize, which she received in 2010.
Mary Jane and Wendy are also performing at the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival (August 10) before travelling to the US for the American Folk Festival (August 24 – 26).
